INCREASING BOTH SPEED AND STABILITY make the Bourbon 17 truly unique. A very fast touring boat with the aggressive look of an adventure racing vehicle and performance to match. Using highly advanced hydrodynamic design technology and made from 3-layer ultra-rigid HDPE, the Bourbon 17 boasts stunning stability, maneuverability and speed.
Excellent primary and secondary stability offers both beginners and exploration rowers a fast ride even in the toughest conditions. Your heaviest gear will barely slow it down - it's the ideal exploration ski. The Bourbon17's maneuverability is unmatched among tour kayaks, with super responsive steering thanks to its unique keel rudder. The rudder is useful when the winds and currents are working against you. The Bourbon 17 comes fully equipped with a large rear oval lid, an easily accessible 20cm diary lid and a large storage compartment in the front. It also features an ergonomically designed seat equipped with a super-comfortable AIR GTX backrest and adjustable Rudder pedals, as well as a bottle holder, integrated calf supports, and a soft, comfortable sitting pad.
The cockpit is long and wide for powerful hits thanks to optimum legroom as well as increased comfort during entry and exit. Also unique to the Bourbon 17, the bow vent cap underlines its ultra-stylish look while protecting your optional compass or GPS that can be mounted at the front of the cockpit.
